Biography

Dalim Basu is the Chairman of the North London Branch of BCS (The Chartered Institute for IT) as well as the Events Director for the ISACA London Chapter. His areas of expertise include IT governance, security, risk management, IT audit, compliance, controls, PMO and project management.

Mr. Basu is CISA and CRISC certified and holds FBCS (Fellow of the BCS) and CITP (Chartered IT Professional) qualifications. Mr. Basu has held positions at a number major financial and business services firms including PwC, KPMG, Chase Manhattan Bank, ITN, Lehman Brothers, Lloyds Banking Group, Mitsubishi, Mizuho Bank, Nomura, Shell and Zurich Financial Services.
In addition, he has invested considerable time in the not-for-profit sector; voluntary roles have included Chairman of the North London Branch of BCS, guest lecturer in IT Risk Management at University College London and also a judge of BCS/Computing ‘UK IT Industry Awards’.
