Gerrie de Jonge joined PostNL in 2004 as Program Director International IT Services. In 2009 he assumed responsibility for Shared Services and Sourcing. As part of this role he was responsible for the introduction and implementation of a new virtual desktop concept within PostNL including BYOD policies and practice. Following this succes, he led the definition, approval and execution of PostNL’s all-cloud strategy.
As of September 2014 Gerrie assumed executive responsibility for IT of PostNL Parcels. In addition, he fulfills the role of Chief Information Security Officer for PostNL as a whole.
Before PostNL, Gerrie worked for Descartes Systems Group as Vice President Supply Chain Visibility and Senior Business Consultant with CMG. Gerrie started his career with Koninklijke PTT Nederland BV in the Young Executive Development Program. He holds Master degrees in both Mathematics and Logistics Management.
Gerrie is a.o. member of the KPN Customer Advisory Board and the ISAC Multinationals, a public / private body for intel sharing on Cyber Security.
